2. How RankingAI handles your .dk backorder

Please read these points. They are important and you confirm them below.

You are the registrant

If the catch succeeds, the domain is registered directly under your registrant details. RankingAI does not hold .dk domains as a nominee or proxy and does not register them under RankingAI's own identity to transfer to you later.

Registry data check

After a successful registration, Punktum dk may require you to complete a mandatory data / ID check by a stated deadline. For some registrants — including new registrants with Danish addresses — this check is mandatory. If it is not completed in time, the domain can be suspended or deleted and may become available to others again.

No guarantee of a catch

A backorder is an attempt, not a guarantee. Drops are competitive and depend on registry behaviour, timing, and conditions outside our control.

If several customers want the same domain

While backorders are free, the winner is the first eligible request; RankingAI may run a pre-auction for contested names. Only the selected customer is submitted at create time.

4. Punktum dk agreement

To register a .dk domain name you must enter into an agreement with Punktum dk A/S, the administrator of all .dk domain names. RankingAI OÜ submits and manages the registration as your registrar.

I hereby agree to enter into an agreement on the right to use the specified .dk domain name according to the terms applicable hereto. Among other things, this means that I will ensure that my contact details as a registrant are accurate at all times. I will perform data and ID control when requested to do so.

My right to use the specified .dk domain name may be transferred, suspended, deleted, or blocked according to the conditions set out in Punktum dk A/S' terms of use.

Pursuant to Section 18 (2) (13) of the Danish Consumer Contract Act, I agree to renounce the right to withdraw from the agreement on the right to use the specified .dk domain name.

I understand that Punktum dk A/S, as domain administrator, uses my personal data in accordance with its personal data policy.

If I am a legal person and not a registered sole proprietorship, I have been informed that my e-mail address will be published and that my e-mail address must not contain any personal data. The e-mail address can be changed via Punktum dk's self-service portal or the registrar.

I agree that I will pay to RankingAI OÜ the fee for the first registration period for the specified .dk domain name, and that payment for subsequent registration periods depends on my choice of management arrangement, cf. section 2.1 of Punktum dk A/S' terms and conditions.

About Punktum dk A/S

Registrar management by RankingAI. I authorize RankingAI OÜ, as my registrar, to submit the .dk registration request to Punktum dk A/S and to manage the domain name under Punktum dk's registrar management model — including registrar administration of the domain, renewal and payment handling according to my selected management arrangement, nameserver administration, DNSSEC/DS administration where requested, and communication with Punktum dk in relation to the domain. I remain the registrant of the domain name. RankingAI does not hold the domain name as a nominee or proxy.

Yes, I accept the user agreement with Punktum dk A/S for the requested domain name. I accept RankingAI's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. I confirm that the applicant details above are accurate, current, and may be submitted to Punktum dk for the requested application. I understand that I am the registrant of the domain. RankingAI registers it directly for me and does not hold it as a nominee or proxy. I authorize RankingAI OÜ to act as my registrar and manage the requested .dk domain under Punktum dk's registrar management model. I understand a successful registration can require a mandatory registry data / ID check, and that failing to complete it in time can cause suspension or deletion of the domain. I understand a backorder does not guarantee a catch, and that if several customers want the same domain the winner is chosen before the drop.

5. Submit backorder

Submitting records your acceptance timestamp and creates a pending backorder request. Placing a backorder is currently free — no payment is taken at this step. RankingAI will confirm availability, eligibility, and production readiness before any live application is submitted.
