Service status

RankingAI OÜ is preparing .dk registrar services through Punktum.dk, the administrator of .dk domain names. RankingAI has completed key onboarding steps and has confirmed the production nameserver and DNSSEC workflow with Punktum.dk.

RankingAI OÜ is testing the final .dk registration request and agreement-acceptance workflow. A submitted request is manually reviewed before any live .dk application is sent to Punktum.dk.

.dk backorders (expiring domains)

If a .dk domain you want is already registered but expiring, you can place a backorder and RankingAI will attempt to register it for you when it becomes available. For .dk, the domain is registered directly under your registrant details — RankingAI does not hold it as a nominee. A backorder is an attempt, not a guarantee, and a successful registration can require a mandatory Punktum.dk data / ID check.

.dk services

After production activation, RankingAI OÜ intends to support the following .dk services where permitted by Punktum.dk rules and applicable law:

.dk domain registration under registrar management.
.dk domain renewal, subject to the registration period supported by Punktum.dk.
Registrant, contact, and billing-data update support where available.
Nameserver and DNS delegation updates.
DNSSEC support using DS records for signed domains.
Registrar change, transfer, and domain lifecycle support.
Customer support for .dk rules, data accuracy, abuse reports, and complaints routing.

Customer acceptance before ordering

Before RankingAI submits a live .dk order, the customer and registrant workflow must capture the following acknowledgements:

The registrant accepts RankingAI's Terms of Service and the applicable Punktum.dk terms for the right to use a .dk domain name.
The registrant confirms that identity and contact information supplied for the .dk domain is accurate and must be kept up to date.
The registrant understands that Punktum.dk, RankingAI, or both may request data or identity checks where required by registry rules, contract, law, abuse prevention, or data-quality controls.
The registrant understands that .dk domain use is subject to Danish domain rules, applicable registry procedures, abuse rules, dispute procedures, and applicable law.
The registrant understands that DNSSEC is supported through DS-record handling and that stale or mismatched DS records can make a domain fail DNSSEC validation.

RankingAI records the applicant's explicit acceptance timestamp and uses that UNIX/POSIX timestamp as the orderConfirmationToken value required for a .dk domain:create request.

DNS, nameservers, and DNSSEC

RankingAI is preparing its own authoritative nameserver service for registrar operations:

Primary nameserver: ns1.rankingai.com
Secondary nameserver: ns2.rankingai.com

RankingAI intends to support DNSSEC-signed zones for customers using RankingAI nameservers. Customers who use external nameservers must ensure that their DNS operator can provide correct DNSSEC signing and matching DS-record data before DS records are submitted.

Applicable .dk rules and official information

.dk services are provided subject to the official rules, procedures, notices, and decisions published by Punktum.dk and applicable Danish law. Customers should review the current official .dk information before ordering or initiating .dk procedures.

Personal data and WHOIS information

When a .dk domain is created or managed, registrant, contact, billing, technical, and registrar-related data may be processed by RankingAI and Punktum.dk according to registry rules, registry privacy requirements, contract requirements, abuse-prevention needs, and applicable data-protection law.

RankingAI OÜ will process customer and domain data only as necessary to provide requested domain registration and management services, comply with registry procedures, maintain records, support customers, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal and registry requirements.
