.mx services

RankingAI OÜ supports the following .mx and .com.mx services where permitted by Registry .MX rules, customer authorization, registry availability, sufficient account balance, and applicable law:

  • .mx and .com.mx domain registration.
  • Domain renewal, restore support, and lifecycle management.
  • Registrar transfer support, including AuthInfo handling where applicable.
  • Domain contact, nameserver, delegation, and DNSSEC/DS updates.
  • Customer support for Registry .MX rules, abuse reports, complaints, disputes, and registry procedures.

Other .mx classifications, including .net.mx, .org.mx, .edu.mx, and .gob.mx, may require eligibility review, supporting documentation, or restricted-domain handling. RankingAI accepts those requests only by manual review and does not treat them as automated open registrations unless Registry .MX confirms that the specific request is permitted.

DNS, nameservers, and DNSSEC

Customers may use their own authoritative DNS provider or request use of RankingAI-operated nameservers, currently ns1.rankingai.com and ns2.rankingai.com. Nameserver changes are processed manually during the initial production phase.

RankingAI can submit DS records for DNSSEC-signed .mx and .com.mx domains upon the domain holder's request. Customers using external nameservers are responsible for ensuring that DS records match the active signed zone. Stale or incorrect DS records can make a domain fail DNSSEC validation.

Prices

RankingAI does not currently operate an automated public checkout for .mx or .com.mx domains. Manual .mx service requests are quoted in writing before the order is accepted. The written quote states the service price, any registry or handling fee, applicable tax, payment method, and any other charge before RankingAI submits the registry request.

Applicable Registry .MX rules

.mx services are provided subject to the official rules, policies, procedures, notices, and decisions published by Registry .MX / NIC Mexico and applicable law. Customers should review current Registry .MX information before ordering or initiating .mx procedures.

Customer acceptance before service

Before RankingAI submits a .mx registration, renewal, transfer, DNSSEC/DS update, nameserver update, contact update, or other domain management request, the customer must provide accurate registrant, administrative, technical, billing, and domain information, confirm that they are authorized to request the procedure, accept the current Registry .MX rules and RankingAI terms, and consent to the processing and transfer of the data needed to perform the registry procedure.

Registry .MX rules may be updated from time to time. Customers agree that domain names are subject to the current Registry .MX policies and future policy changes, that registration of a domain name does not create property rights in the domain name or registry data, and that the domain must not be used for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, rights-infringing, or prohibited purposes.

RankingAI records the customer's written acceptance and service instructions as evidence for registry compliance, billing, support, abuse handling, dispute handling, and legal record-keeping.

Personal data, WHOIS, and Registry .MX disclosure

When a .mx or .com.mx domain is created or managed, registrant, contact, billing, technical, nameserver, DNSSEC/DS, support, payment, and registry procedure data may be processed by RankingAI and transmitted to Registry .MX / NIC Mexico, including systems and service providers used for domain administration.

Registry .MX / NIC Mexico may process, publish, transfer, or disclose domain and contact information where required or permitted by its rules, WHOIS/RDDS practices, registry procedures, dispute processes, competent authorities, court orders, law enforcement, or applicable law. Registry .MX may also notify registrants or contacts directly about domain procedures.

Customers are responsible for keeping all .mx domain data correct, complete, accurate, and current. Where data changes, customers must notify RankingAI promptly so that the registry record can be updated where required.

Lifecycle, renewal, deletion, and transfer notes

  • Registry .MX registration and renewal periods are subject to registry rules, account balance, and maximum coverage limits.
  • Registry .MX registration grace and renewal grace periods are currently 45 calendar days under the business rules reviewed during onboarding.
  • Automatic renewal may occur after the renewal grace period where Registry .MX rules and account-balance conditions are met; once a registry charge becomes final, it may not be refundable.
  • Deleted domains may enter a Pending Delete period during which restoration may be available only through the sponsoring registrar and may require registry fees.
  • Transfers require valid AuthInfo, an eligible domain status, no transfer prohibition, sufficient balance, and compliance with the Registry .MX transfer procedure.
